JOB SUMMARY
The Procurement Specialist will procure supplier products for stock and customer specific orders, as well as determine inventory levels and settings for responsible product lines and resolve associated receiving and accounting issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
- Procure supplier products for stock and customer specific orders.
- Collaborate with Product Management and negotiate with suppliers to maximize profit
- Review and classify items to determine stocking profiles.
- Assist with escalation and resolution of critical supplier issues.
- Resolve accounting issues associated with supplier orders.
- Identify and pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement.
- Comply with the Company's Quality Management System.
- Comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience or
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. Person defined as: U.S. Citizen, Any individual granted U.S. permanent residence, granted status as a "protected person" under 8 U.S.C. 132b (a) (3); corporation/business/organization/group incorporated in the U.S under U.S law; or part of the U.S. government.

- Ability to analyze data & market trends.
- Proficient in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Oracle experience a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

$60,000 - $64,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
