At Webfleet, we are looking for a Buyer / Procurement Specialist to strengthen our Procurement team by taking ownership of strategic purchasing activities while leveraging data-driven insights to optimize costs, supplier performance, and procurement governance.

In this role, you will act as the commercial owner for assigned categories, leading sourcing initiatives from strategy definition through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. You will work closely with Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, and regional stakeholders to ensure procurement delivers measurable business value through cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and strong commercial governance.

As part of a procurement function focused on continuous improvement, you will combine hands-on buying responsibilities with analytical capabilities, using spend data and market insights to support sourcing decisions and progressively expand procurement ownership across the business.

Here's a little taste of your challenge:

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing
  • Take ownership of assigned procurement categories, acting as the commercial buyer and primary procurement contact.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and procurement objectives.

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations.

  • Ensure appropriate contract coverage, competitive commercial terms, and supplier compliance.

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.

Cost Optimization & Commercial Governance
  • Drive cost transparency across assigned categories by analyzing pricing models, supplier rates, and commercial structures.

  • Identify and deliver cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives.

  • Consolidate fragmented spend, standardize supplier agreements, and improve procurement efficiency.

  • Support procurement governance by ensuring sourcing activities follow established policies and best practices.

Contract & Supplier Management
  • Manage supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders.

  • Proactively coordinate contract renewals, amendments, and supplier transitions to minimize commercial risk.

  • Monitor supplier performance, commercial risks, and supplier dependencies while ensuring corrective actions are implemented when required.

Spend Analysis & Procurement Insights
  • Utilize procurement dashboards and spend analysis tools to support sourcing strategies and negotiation decisions.

  • Perform supplier benchmarking, cost modelling, and scenario analysis using advanced Excel capabilities.

  • Analyze contract coverage, procurement compliance, and spending patterns to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Support the onboarding of new procurement categories by structuring spend data and developing sourcing approaches.

Stakeholder Partnership
  • Act as the primary procurement interface for business stakeholders across multiple functions.

  • Partner closely with Finance, IT, Operations, Legal, and regional teams to deliver aligned sourcing outcomes.

  • Promote procurement best practices and increase adoption of sourcing processes across decentralized purchasing activities.

Who are you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, finance, or analytical business roles.

  • Experience managing sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency for spend analysis, supplier comparisons, and cost modelling.

  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is considered a strong advantage.

  • Structured, proactive, and ownership-driven, with the ability to translate data into actionable sourcing decisions.

  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, international matrix organization.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Professional proficiency in English.
