Job Summary
You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the inventory of lubricants, DEF, antifreeze, equipment, and other inventory items. Working closely with Warehouse and Location leaders, you will ensure inventory control and accuracy across all locations.
 
You Will Do…
 
Inventory Management
  • Coordinate vendor orders to maintain necessary inventory levels across all locations.
  • Create and process Purchase Orders efficiently to meet operational demands.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels at all locations to prevent shortages or excess.
  • Coordinate the movement of inventory between branches to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Schedule, prepare, and verify manufacturing and packaging orders to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Conduct spot checks on inbound and outbound freight shipments to verify accuracy, collaborating with location managers.
 Strategic Procurement
  • Establish and maintain Reorder Point (ROP) levels for warehouse inventory to trigger automatic replenishments.
  • Identify and manage the disposition of excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate updating of vendor pricing in inventory systems.
  • Work with vendors to resolve issues related to shortages, damages, or defective products.
 Relationship and Performance Management
  • Maintain favorable working relationships across all company levels to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Keep the immediate supervisor informed of all significant issues and take prompt corrective action where necessary.
  • Recommend improvements for product storage, inventory bin assignments, and warehouse ROP levels.
  • Conduct training for personnel on inventory control processes and procedures.
 Additional Responsibilities
  • Recommend strategies to enhance efficiency in warehouse operations.
  • Support buyback reconciliation processes.
  • Perform other duties as required or requested by supervisors in support of Senergy's business objectives.

  • Typically work is performed in an office and field setting.
  • Occasional work around equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
  • Occasional work in dusty, wet, dirty environments and exposure to fuel and fuel fumes.
 Physical Demands
  • Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about office setting to complete responsibilities.
  • Frequent use of phone, computer, and office equipment.
  • Able to move freely around work and customer sites.
  • Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
 Travel
  • Local area as needed.
  • Outside of local area ~5%
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • 4 or more years experience in procurement, purchasing, operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills. 
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite or similar ERP system.
  • Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
  • Strong financial background.
  • Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.
  • Well organized and able to effectively multitask.
 
Preferred
  • 4-year degree in an applicable field to include supply chain, operations, logistics, finance, and accounting.
  • Experience in transportation, lubricants, fuel, or a related industry.
  • Experience in dispatching or other logistics support area.
