Procurement Specialist

Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Act as point of contact when people access Procurement, conveying Procurement’s subject matter expertise and commitment to prompt and efficient purchasing specific to region.
• Effective partnering with internal business units and reporting Manager
• Manage the procurement life cycle, including sourcing and acquiring goods and services
• Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and delivery specifications; prioritize all requests according to stakeholder needs
• Manages a volume of diverse purchases from across the organization, acting as a central hub that brings together business partners, (like Administration, Finance, IT, Marketing, Human Resources, etc.)
• Develop and present pricing and service options purchases, including saving analysis, supplier offering comparisons, and solution recommendations
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers; perform market research to better understand current and future offerings relative to our business
• Develop RFQs to support business requirements
• Negotiate prices, terms and conditions, delivery specifications, and services
• Work with the finance team to ensure a smooth and timely process for executing invoice payments
• Issue purchase orders
• File expense reports for corporate credit cards
• Timely update of regional renewal contract tracker and upload files on the procurement software on regular basis
• Help to implement global processes to streamline and scale SOTI’s purchasing process

Experience You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and accomplishments
• 1-2 years of procurement experience
• Demonstrates a working understanding of MS Office
• Openness and adaptability for AI tools
• Strong Excel skills preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple project deliverables on multiple projects effectively
• Demonstrates excellent communication and reasoning skills
• Excellent commercial understanding and business acumen
