Job Description

Procurement Specialist will have experience with price negotiations; purchase order creation; order tracking and management; and price dispute resolutions. Procurement Specialist should have experience in acquiring, buying goods, services or works from an external source. 
Additional knowledge: 
Purchasing and managing inventory 
Record Keeping 
Negotiate pricing 
Maintain Client and Customer relationships 
Multitasking 
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience required 
1 year experience in customer service 
1 year of experience using computer as primary job tool 
Update and maintain various systems/tools per standard process documentation 
Respond to various requests for information, as needed. Escalate to supervisor as appropriate.

Must have 1 year of experience using computer as primary job tool; will be trained on client specific systems and procedures *********************************************************** Update and maintain various systems/tools per standard process documentation which may include: o Execute transactions o With minimal direction, enter data and retrieve information from group specific system o Audit own data entry for accuracy & make needed corrections o Conduct data verification Respond to various requests for information, as needed. Escalate to supervisor as appropriate File, archive and retrieve documents (paper-based and electronic) using filing standards Produce standard correspondence by following existing templates. Adhere to client formatting and quality standards. Proof and edit work for syntax, grammar and punctuation Respond to information requests by search.
