As a Procurement Specialist at StandardAero's Augusta, GA MRO, you will play a key role in sourcing and negotiating the best quality products, goods, and services for the company, ensuring the most economically advantageous outcomes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and contributing to specifications, sourcing credible suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, and managing supplier performance. You will be integral in maintaining the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our procurement activities.
What You'll Do:
- Obtain and review quotes through various processes, from informal RFQs to full tendering and evaluation.
- Collaborate with other business areas to prepare business cases for capital expenditure requests, developing specifications with suppliers and end users while controlling costs.
- Initiate purchase orders and work with suppliers to monitor and expedite delivery; follow up with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or cost issues.
- Analyze performance measures for assigned inventory and supplies, including stock levels, inventory turns, aged inventory, due date compliance, shortages, and cost savings opportunities.
- Engage with and obtain agreement from key stakeholders regarding Supply Chain contract implementation.
- Strive to lower material costs, improve supplier quality and delivery, and reduce the supplier base through supplier rationalization projects.
- Pursue supplier consolidation or tiered supplier models and negotiate contracts to achieve cost reductions and optimal terms and conditions.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in sourcing and procurement, vendor relationship management, and contract negotiations.
- Prior/current professional experience partnering with OEMs and vendors.
- Experience working with 30+ suppliers/vendors on national scale.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S., without sponsorship
- High School Diploma or GED

- Experience managing the full cycle of procurement, from researching parts specifications and pricing, to vendor negotiations and shipping coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, decision-making, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Experience utilizing AS400 or comparable ERP systems.
- Experience in an Aviation MRO environment.
