Role Purpose:
- To drive strategic procurement initiatives, streamline operational efficiency, and support cross-functional teams across multiple packaging material categories. This role acts as a key interface between global/regional sourcing, R&D, quality, and the India Business Unit to ensure robust delivery of productivity, innovation, and supply continuity goals. You will also deliver service-level targets by ensuring material availability, escalating when needed, and support business continuity planning implementation, activating when needed & support the execution of sourcing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with regional sourcing, R&D, and quality teams to co-develop strategic sourcing roadmap; lead bi-weekly governance and monthly reviews with strong engagement
- Drive Raw/Packaging material productivity strategy with timely follow up with relevant stakeholders
- Developing Business continuity plans for suppliers in-line with Business Unit Strategy.
- Track and ensure timely delivery of productivity projects for Raw/Pack Materials (RPM), ensuring risk mitigation and cross-functional alignment
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Supplier Qualification acceleration by coordinating across Commercial, Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing.
- Lead NPD (New Product Development) support for Raw/packaging material categories aligned with the 4-2-1 pipeline, serving as the key liaison between Global/Regional Sourcing and the Business Unit.
- Resolve operational issues including supply disruptions & quality deviations
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations (Packaging or FMCG preferred)
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset
- Exposure to cross-functional innovation and supply chain processes is a plus.
Travel requirements: Limited Travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory
