What You’ll Do
- Manage timely and efficient purchasing of metallic raw materials (e.g., scrap)
- Identify and engage new suppliers across the European market
- Analyze and optimize the procurement process to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance compliance
- Support internal stakeholders by verifying technical specifications and sharing market insights
- Track and report key metrics to support informed decision-making
- Ensure contract execution and coordinate optimal logistics (land, sea, or air)
- Conduct supplier visits and manage long-term procurement partnerships
Your Profile
- Degree: Economics, Engineering, or related field
- Driving License: Category B – required
- Languages: Advanced English, Advanced Italian is a must
- Skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel), data analysis, procurement tools
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to Italy, Dalmine at least 1 week / month
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, commodity trading, sales, or supplier management.
- Experience in industrial sectors such as steel, metals, recycling, raw materials, manufacturing, logistics, or other B2B environments.
- Proven experience managing commercial relationships and negotiating with suppliers.
