This Position reports to:
Procurement & Logistics Manager
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will join regional sourcing initiatives, plan and implement the procurement and logistics strategy for an assigned category or group of categories, with a focus on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability. You will ensure the execution, in accordance with instructions and procedures from the company, of the Procurement & Logistics function and supply base management aligned with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power business in Quartino, Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with the Continuous Improvement Process and business goals, ensuring supplier capabilities meet current and future needs.
- Managing procurement activities, budget tracking, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts.
- Negotiating supplier agreements, including price lists, terms, and conditions, and adapting corporate frameworks to local needs.
- Selecting suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability, and implementing cost-out programs to meet financial targets.
Qualifications for the role:
- Min. 3 years of experience in electromechanical/electronics components, passive/active components, and/or PCBAs management.
- Sound knowledge of UPS Business.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience with SAP, POWER BI, Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English.
