Salary Range: $41,206.00 - $72,113.00

Recruitment Range: $41,206.00 - $65,760.00

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

• Proven ability to interpret and apply established procurement rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and apply this knowledge in problem solving and responding to questions and inquiries.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel and vendors.

• Technical expertise required in order to write effective IFBs, RFQs, and other solicitation methods to procure goods and services.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Completion of the North Carolina Contract Manager (NCCM) program within one year of hire per G.S. 143-49 (15).

This is a full-time position and is eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement.  The normal working hours are 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

About Central Regional Hospital (CRH):  CRH is a State-of-the Art psychiatric hospital located in Butner, NC. Our location is ideal with four seasons, mild temperatures and provides an easy commute to the N.C. mountains or beaches. Butner possesses small town charm but is within 30 minutes of a major metropolitan area including Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Durham, NC. The people we serve are at the heart of our facility. Our team is critical to the mission of the hospital. Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution,

or

Associate degree in business or related field of study from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of procurement experience;

or

equivalent combination of education and experience.
