Department OverviewProcurement Process Manager is responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, deployment and the effectiveness of the Procurement Programs, inclusive of determining processes, technologies, reporting necessary for implementation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, diligent and hardworking quick learner with a passion for learning new Procurement systems and technologies.
The Procurement Process Manager will interface with both internal stakeholders including Procurement, AP, IT & Finance and externally with peers, industry experts, suppliers, and SaaS providers.
Job Description

Within the Procurement area, you will act as a project manager and implement medium to high complexity projects & provide support to larger procurement initiatives:

 

  • Manage Procurement related projects focusing on establishing and/or improving processes and overall enablement 
  • Connect with stakeholders to ensure delivery is aligned to their objectives
  • Develop and manage partnerships with internal clients ensuring good communication across all relevant functions to deliver business objectives
  • Prepare reports and presentations and provide regular project overview and status updates to leadership
  • Initiate market research as needed
  • Perform problem-solving functions to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
  • Review project requests, filter, and prioritize for the team
  • Assist in developing project management tools and templates
  • Mentor team on project management methodologies
  • Identify the potential risks to the projects and implement mitigation strategies


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, finance or a related field
  • 5+ years of procurement experience (direct and indirect)
  • 3+ years of project management & process improvement experience)
  • Financial acumen
  • Lean/six sigma certification is preferred
  • Risk Management experience is preferred
  • Good stakeholder management & communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
