We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager - Procurement Operations to manage and coordinate procurement activities across multiple regions.
In this role, you will lead a global team responsible for the end-to-end Req-to-PO process, catalog and supplier data management, and procurement operations support for both Indirect and Direct R&D categories. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with global procurement policies, and foster continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a global team of 5 FTEs across two functional areas: Content Management and Procurement Operations.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with global procurement strategy and operational KPIs.
- Own the Req-to-PO process, ensuring:
- Quality, accuracy and completeness of requisitions,
- Timely creation, modification, and closure of Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP (Priority),
- PO transmission, supplier acknowledgment, and follow-up/expediting as needed. - Monitor and report on maverick spend and retroactive POs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and suppliers regarding Req-to-PO inquiries and reporting.
- Support internal and external procurement audits.
- Oversee global catalog maintenance in ERP, including SKU connections.
- Manage supplier enablement for catalogs and price lists.
- Maintain Terms & Conditions and supplier master data in ERP.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date supplier contact information in local systems.
Professional Profile:
- 6-10 years of proven experience in procurement operations, preferably in a global environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field (Technical, Chemical, Economics or similar).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (knowledge of Priority is a plus).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and compliance.
