Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

This role is contributing to the {Primary Switchgear/EL/ELDS/Procurement} in {China}. Main stakeholders are {Procurement Manager}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
- Responsible for material master data and Vendor master data management, maintenance and digitalization.
- Responsible Supply Chain Global and Local systems and platforms management and improvement, bridge the gap between procurement operations and intelligent automation.
- Lead Supply Chain process improvement, digitalization and support other related function process improvement.
- Provide training to sourcing engineers to enhance the data and process quality and productivity.
- Support Supply Chain department event and other activities.

Qualifications for the role
- You are skilled in Process management and improvement, with demonstrated expertise in procurement data analytics, spend analysis, and visualization tools — transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
- with above 2 years hands-on experience in process optimization, master data governance, and digital transformation.
- Adept in Office/ERP/Power BI, and Python/SQL for data mining skills are preferred.
- Be passionate about stakeholder collaboration and change management, and innovative around lean methodology and continuous improvement.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
- Communicate fluently in English.
