Procurement Officer

Supplier Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods and services.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms for the organization.

Procurement:

• Source and procure materials, equipment, supplies, and services needed for the organization's operations.
• Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, monitor order status, and expedite deliveries as necessary.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
• Cost Management:
• Monitor and control procurement costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or delivery.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining high-quality standards.

Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
• Implement inventory control measures, such as regular audits and demand forecasting, to optimize inventory turnover.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and related documentation.
• Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
