We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager (UAE National Preferred) to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations across the organization. The role is responsible for driving cost optimization, managing global suppliers (including China), negotiating contracts, ensuring procurement compliance, and supporting business growth through efficient procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- Build and manage relationships with local and international suppliers, particularly Chinese OEMs.
- Drive cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement process improvements.
- Manage import/export coordination, logistics, and procurement compliance.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Projects to meet business requirements.
- Oversee procurement reporting, ERP systems, and procurement digitalization initiatives.
- Lead and develop the procurement team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of procurement experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Experience with international procurement, Chinese suppliers, and import/export activities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Epicor.
- CIPS, CPSM, or CPM certification is an advantage.
