Job Description Summary
The Procurement Manager is responsible for providing cross-divisional category expertise for the France site, proactively carrying out continuous analyses, frequently realigning local activities with the global category strategy, as well as supporting strategy execution in the assigned area.The role supports continuous improvement and leads the implementation and periodic updates of global and regional category strategies in collaboration with site and country teams. The role is also responsible for managing supplier relationships, contracting, market research, category data, and internal business information. In this role, you would also be responsible for providing strategic sourcing expertise, supplier market intelligence, financial productivity and mitigation of risk. The role ensures the delivery of measurable value for Sandoz through alignment with business requirements and contributes to the organization's financial health and competitive advantage.

This position is available in both Prague (CZ) and Madrid (ES), with the successful candidate hired locally in either location.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement Site Services France strategic goals from the overall Procurement strategy.
Accountable for productivity/cost efficiency targets in Service & Capex in France.
Support centrally led processes (e.g., SFCM, TPRM (Third Party Risk Management)).
Ensure the successful implementation of global, regional and local projects across Service & Capex functions, ensuring key stakeholder alignment and business relevance.
Manage quality of the French end-to-end Procurement process, including compliance with policies, strategies and processes. Support seamless integration of capability centers into the end-to-end process.
Manage relationships with (senior and executive) stakeholders and serve as key contact for stakeholders in Service & Capex.
Execute the Source-to-Contract process including respective strategies, approaches and methods.
Prepare and conduct fact-based negotiations. Adapt tactics from a broad portfolio of negotiation strategies to achieve results that support business and Procurement objectives.
Monitor and identify expiring contracts, initiating the process for contract extension or competitive bidding.
What you will bring to the role:
University degree in Business or similar is required.
Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in a large multinational organization, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience leading sourcing projects and contract negotiations with strategic suppliers.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
Demonstrated success in preparing and conducting relevant negotiations.
Ability to develop sourcing strategies that balance business needs, risk, quality, and cost objectives.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
Experience with SAP and SAP Ariba systems is preferred.
Fluent spoken and written French and English (Spanish preferred, but not mandatory).
