General Function/Role Purpose:

As the Procurement Manager II, you will be responsible for acquiring goods and services required by our organization at the best possible price, while ensuring quality, quantity, and timely delivery. They collaborate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to optimize the procurement process.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliability and favorable terms.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor and track orders to ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends in the market.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts. Ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality standards. Monitor and enforce quality control measures in procurement.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the procurement process. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor communications.
  • Generate reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and vendor performance for management review.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract terms
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement
  • Experience using Workday
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools Like Coupa and SAP
