The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in enabling the successful development and rollout of Prologis’ Energy and EV Charging Infrastructure projects across Europe. This role is execution-focused and centered on EPC and O&M contracting, standardization, and firm commercial negotiations. The Manager partners closely with Energy, Legal and other Real Estate teams to ensure contract readiness, pragmatic tender processes, and commercially robust vendor agreements that accelerate project delivery.
The ideal candidate brings a proven procurement track record in development contracting (EPC and O&M) within renewables or EV charging infrastructure and has an established network within the European EV charging supply ecosystem.
This position requires an entrepreneurial minded, structured communicator and hands-on “doer” who prioritizes delivery and clarity
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead competitive sourcing and firm negotiations for EPC and O&M contracts, including performance-based infrastructure agreements across Solar, BESS and EV Charging infrastructure.
- Ensure availability, legal robustness, and usability of standardized EPC and O&M contract templates across the EU, in close collaboration with Legal.
- Establish pragmatic, clear, and efficient tender processes, including standardized document packages, evaluation criteria, and realistic timelines.
- Translate technical project requirements into commercially sound procurement strategies that optimize risk allocation and total project value.
- Take a strong commercial negotiation stance to secure competitive pricing, performance guarantees, and enforceable contractual commitments.
- Drive supplier relationship and performance management frameworks, including KPI definition, governance cadence, innovation tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost, and delivery outcomes.
- Incorporate country-specific regulatory and grid-connection requirements into sourcing and contracting strategies across Europe.
- Act as a structured, reliable partner to Energy solution, Development, and Legal teams, removing bottlenecks and accelerating project execution.
- Own end-to-end category strategy development for Energy Solutions, including supply market mapping, cost driver analysis, supplier landscape assessment, and identification of structured deal opportunities to create competitive advantage and incremental value.
- Monitor and proactively manage market dynamics and supply chain risks (cost volatility, geopolitical exposure, regulatory shifts, currency, supplier financial health, sustainability and ESG requirements), translating insights into actionable mitigation strategies.
- Travel domestically and internationally (10–20%) to support supplier negotiations, project execution, stakeholder alignment, and market intelligence gathering.

- 5+ years procurement and sourcing experience with a proven procurement track record in development contracting (EPC and O&M).
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex performance-based EPC or infrastructure contracts.
- Knowledge of and network within the European EV charging infrastructure industry.
- Experience in renewables (solar, BESS) and infrastructure deployment environments
- Strong understanding of country-specific regulatory and grid-connection requirements across Europe.
- Experience operating across multiple European markets and engaging with cross-border suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ability to translate technical project requirements into structured commercial frameworks.
- Clear, structured communicator with strong stakeholder alignment capability.
- Execution-oriented “doer” with strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree.
