Procurement Category Manager
Your mission :
Responsible for leading and implementing state-of-the-art procurement and category management which will contribute to making Ayvens the industry leader in procurement
Responsibilities :
- Define and execute end-to-end category management; following the strategic sourcing process, ensuring a common approach to measure
- Define and lead central category initiatives to ensure that objectives and targets are met, including compliance with central guidelines
- Lead and provide guidance to countries and support problem solving in escalated issues relates to category
- Central point of contact and knowledge for the (sub)category and coordinates with all relevant functions such as Remarketing, Finance, Commercial
- Ensure all volume and financial targets are achieved within agreed timescale
- Source, negotiate, select and sign annual framework agreements with suppliers
- Identify potential cost reductions and assign to local/central responsibility
- Provide in-depth expertise and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the category related to suppliers, markets and trends
- Realize access to innovative services, to support the business needs and secure competitive advantage
- Manage the contracts and monitor the execution of bonus & discount agreements
- Establish and manage and continuously develop relationship with suppliers
- Liaise with internal business partners of the value streams to understand needs and to translate this to strategies and projects.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience
- Experience of OEM sales and distribution models
- Experience of negotiating with OEMS and dealers
- Experience with supplier relationship management, process implementation
- Fluent in English language
- Flexible to travel
