Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, RFx management, negotiations, vendor onboarding and performance reviews. Ensure procurement governance and SOX compliance, track savings against budgets, support audits, improve procurement KPIs, and serve as procurement advisor and custodian for projects in the ANZ region.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively partake from sourcing to contracting activities that includes new vendor sourcing, onboarding, due diligence, negotiations, vendor management and contract management.
  • Work with stakeholder to secure final signed off scope of works, requirements and budget estimates and develop a go to market strategy for relevant goods and services to secure the best outcomes in terms of price, quality and delivery with emphasis on TCO.
  • Manage RFx activities, bid / quote evaluations, price negotiations and PO award.
  • Responsible and accountable for procurement governance in line with Vertiv Organization Process Assets (OPA) and SOX compliance.
  • Conduct periodical Vendor Performance reviews.
  • Take part in internal and external audits.
  • Develop and maintain yearly procurement savings budget and track savings against the budget monthly.
  • Continuously improve procurement KPIs – i.e. savings, payment terms, and contract coverage
  • Contribute to VOS (Vertiv Operating System) which is focused on process improvement through ideation and brainstorming.
  • Oversight and approval of variations (both pricing and contractual) and ePR’s.
  • Point of contact for all procurement advice to stakeholders in ANZ.
  • Develop and establish procurement best practices for related project and act as a custodian of the procurement discipline.

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer
  • Min 5 years’ experience in previous Procurement / Supply Chain / related roles with at least 2 years being in Procurement
  • Strong experience in vendor management, procurement, estimation of pricing, contract management would be required 
  • Prior experience in similar industry would be an added advantage 
  • Familiar with ERP Systems

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
