Procurement & Logistics Specialist with Polish and Turkish

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing -related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your skills by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to support professional development.

This role is contributing to the AU Indirect materials & Services in EMEA.

• Own and drive the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO), ensuring timely goods receipt, supplier compliance, and accurate invoice processing.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with a portfolio of approved international suppliers, ensuring reliable service delivery while supporting internal and external customer needs and executing procurement strategies in close collaboration with the Sourcing team.
• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Proactively coordinate supplier orders and deliveries, ensuring alignment with internal customer requirements.
• Monitor and validate goods receipt and supplier performance, resolving issues promptly to maintain operational continuity and optimize procurement efficiency.
• Execute procurement activities with full adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, ensuring cost-effective and value-driven purchasing of goods and services.

• You are highly skilled in using tools such as Excel and SAP, leveraging them to optimize procurement processes within a professional environment.
• You have 2+ years of experience in procurement, delivering efficient and effective solutions in this field.
• You are adept at communicating fluently in business Turkish, Polish and English, demonstrating communication skills, especially during phone conversations.
• You are committed to delivering high-quality customer service, with a focused and solution-oriented approach to meeting customer needs.
• You possess advanced interpersonal skills that help build positive relationships and ensure smooth collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Expertice and experience supporting or being working in polish / Turkish projects.
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by effectively using AI-enabled tools, digital technologies, and analytical thinking to simplify processes, enhance stakeholder experience, and drive operational excellence.
