To manage and optimize logistics procurement operations across Laos and Cambodia, ensuring cost-effective, sustainable, and compliant sourcing of logistics services. This role supports the regional supply chain strategy and contributes to operational excellence in transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Develop and execute logistics procurement strategies for Laos and Cambodia.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard logistics service providers (transportation, warehousing, customs clearance).
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure value delivery and risk mitigation.
- Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with supply chain, planning, and customer service teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely resolution of logistics issues impacting service levels or costs.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Unilever’s policies, local regulations, and ethical standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for logistics operations.
- Data & Analytics
- Analyze logistics spend and performance data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for regional procurement and supply chain leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Laos, Cambodia.
- Represent procurement in cross-functional projects and regional initiatives.
Education and Experiences
Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
Relevant Experience in Logistics Services industry, or Procurement of such, will be preferable.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.
SAP and Digital sourcing Platforms knowledge (advantage).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of English.
