SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Procurement Legal Counsel to join our legal team and spread the power of Wiz.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be a legal business partner to Wiz’s procurement team.
- Structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts with different kinds of vendors and agreements, including marketing agreements, consulting agreements, events production and event sponsorship agreements, SaaS and software agreements, services agreements, etc.
- Review of privacy aspects in vendor agreements, including data processing agreements.
- Advise finance, HR, product, R&D, sales, and marketing teams on legal, compliance, and privacy matters that are relevant to these teams’ engagements with different vendors.
- Support the continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
- Manage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal stakeholders and delivering results efficiently and quickly.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology company or a commercial department of a leading law firm.
- Licensed to practice law in Israel.
- Significant experience in working on procurement contracts.
- Experience in handling and dealing with data privacy matters, including a good understanding and knowledge of privacy laws (GDPR, CPRA, and other global privacy laws).
- Ability to take ownership of and to lead all legal processes in relation to Wiz’s procurement practices.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hebrew, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including during US and Israel business hours.
- A pragmatic and “business-friendly” attitude with an understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business.
