Procurement Lead - Green Field Projects
Overview: We are seeking an innovative and experienced Procurement Lead to spearhead our green field project initiatives. This role is crucial in establishing procurement processes from the ground up for new facilities or operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainable procurement practices and experience in managing procurement for new project developments.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years specifically in green field or new project developments
- Proven track record in sustainable procurement practices and implementing green initiatives
- Strong understanding of project management principles and experience working in project-based environments
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex procurement scenarios
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in establishing new supplier relationships
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable business practices
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
- Experience in change management and implementing new processes
- LEED Accredited Professional or similar sustainability certification is a plus
- Professional procurement certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred
