P&O Maritime Mozambique S.A. is currently seeking to recruit a Procurement Intern, based in Maputo City, who will support administrative, operational, financial, and procurement activities, while developing practical skills in a professional environment.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to support the Procurement department, while gaining hands-on experience and developing practical skills in a dynamic and professional environment.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM ACTIVITIES
- Assist the Procurement team in better organizing physical processes and submitting documents for payment.
- Help manage internal files and documents.
- Learn and support the department’s logistical and operational activities.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
- Organize physical and digital documents and files.
- Learn and assist in preparing reports and performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in process improvement and quality control projects.
- Assist in price quotations from suppliers.
- Monitor orders and delivery deadlines.
- Learn how to control inventory and support material logistics.
- Organize contracts and purchasing documents.
- Support process improvement and compliance projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English (both verbal and written).
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
