Procurement Intern (Sparks Math)
The Procurement Intern will support the Sparks Math team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing the delivery of center operations materials (e.g., manipulative tools, classroom equipment's, uniform etc) which required for the center expansion
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Sourcing & Research : Identify and vet new vendors for printing services, educational supplies, and logistics.
- Request for Quotations (RFQ): Assist in drafting RFQs, collecting bids from multiple suppliers, and preparing comparison sheets for the Head of Ops.
- Order Management: Process purchase orders (POs), track shipments to new expansion sites, and ensure deliveries arrive on schedule.
- Cost Analysis : Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities by analyzing bulk pricing or alternative materials without compromising quality.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels of math kits and curriculum materials to prevent shortages during the rollout phases.
- Documentation: Maintain digital archives of contracts, invoices, and supplier performance records to ensure audit compliance.
Requirements
- Final year student or fresh graduate, preferably from Business, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.Familiar with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office (especially Excel/Sheets for basic data handling and comparisons).
- Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Basic negotiation skills and willingness to learn the end-to-end procurement process.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, especially in handling documents such as POs, invoices, and quotations.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working with numbers and details.
