Job Description

As Checkout continues to expand globally, we are transforming our Finance function and as part of that transformation, we are building our Mauritius Procurement and TPRM risk teams with talent and tooling to support our continued global growth.

Are you up for the challenge.

As part of this transformation, we are seeking talented and motivated individuals across roles from Analyst, Senior Analyst, Associate and Senior Associate. This team will support Global Category Managers to optimise our 3rd party supply chain across a range of competencies, from sourcing to data management, supplier performance management, analytics and procurement system support.

We are seeking data, procurement, finance, system and supply chain expertise to join the team and help us accelerate growth.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this team will be accountable to the Global Procurement Director and support Global Category Managers from HQ.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Monitor and analyse trends in overall third party spend in order to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings or operational improvement.
  • Develop and support data analytics, reporting and category management
  • Align with all purchasing policies and procedures,
  • Assist with the develop and deliver purchasing reports,  requirements documentation, and tender documents
  • Review and approve purchasing and contract requests for the business 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key team members and ensure regular communication and reporting as appropriate
  • Effectively communicate procurement strategies to team members and partners in a timely and clear way
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in procurement processes, contract management, and vendor communications.
  • Excellence in analytical ability
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple procurement requests and operational tasks simultaneously.
  • Opportunity to work on operational improvement projects to enhance the efficiency of the procurement team and improve experiences for key stakeholders 

What we’re looking for

  • Strong working knowledge of Procurement processes, policies and best practices and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a Procurement or Supply Chain environment. 
  • Strong data analytics experience including advanced Excel skills. 
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; ability to prioritise and implement while under pressure.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible; able to adjust quickly to new situations and changing priorities
  • Comfortable in a varied role and growing and developing team, able to take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
  • Pragmatic with the ability to navigate complexity in a dynamic and innovative environment
  • Ability to deliver consistently and at a rapid pace whilst maintaining high quality and accuracy
  • Fluent in English and be prepared to work UK hours
