Procurement Excellence Specialist

To support this exciting journey, we are looking for a Procurement Excellence Specialist to join our Indirect Procurement team in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will become part of our newly established Procurement Excellence team, led by the Procurement Excellence Manager and supported by two specialists. Together, the team focuses on implementing high‑performance procurement processes and creating a smooth, efficient and future‑ready Source‑to‑Pay experience across Rituals. From operational support in sourcing and contracting to purchasing and continuous improvement, the team plays an important role in connecting Procurement, Finance, Tech & Data and the global business.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

As Procurement Excellence Specialist, you help create a smooth and reliable Source‑to‑Pay process across Rituals. You support the day‑to‑day execution of procurement, supplier management, contracting and purchasing processes, while also contributing to the ongoing improvement of systems, workflows and ways of working.

You enjoy keeping things accurate, organised and running smoothly. Whether you are maintaining supplier data, supporting users with procurement‑related questions or helping improve content in procurement systems, your work brings clarity, consistency and efficiency to the business.

Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Tech & Data and other stakeholders, you help ensure that our processes are not only well managed, but also ready to grow with us.

In this role, you will:

• Provide operational support for the daily execution of sourcing, purchasing, supplier management and contracting processes across our Source‑to‑Pay landscape
• Keep supplier, contract and procurement data accurate, complete and up to date in our systems
• Act as the first point of contact for procurement‑related questions from users and suppliers
• Help manage purchase orders, procurement contracts and content, approval workflows and procurement‑related issue resolution
• Support sourcing activities, including RFx administration, supplier communication and reporting improvements
• Contribute to better systems and ways of working by improving content, workflows, knowledge base materials and SharePoint pages
• Deliver or support trainings for new joiners and colleagues

You enjoy hands‑on operational work and create structure while supporting others in a practical and thoughtful way, working accurately and proactively across systems, processes and stakeholders and maintaining a clear overview in a dynamic environment. While your natural curiosity drives you to understand how things work, you identify improvements and simplify processes, all combined with a service‑minded attitude and strong attention to detail that motivates you to help both the business and your colleagues move forward. On top of this:

• Starter experience in procurement or finance operations, or related operational processes. Familiarity with procurement tools such as Coupa, Ariba or Ivalua is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders across the business
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail including confidence working across multiple systems
• A proactive, service‑oriented and continuous improvement mindset
• The ability to prioritise, multitask and manage both recurring and ad hoc activities independentlyA practical, problem‑solving approach to operational challenges
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus
• You reside in the Netherlands
