About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded Procurement Excellence Analyst with hands-on buying and sourcing experience to join our central team. In this role you will shape how our Procurement teams operate, optimising our ProcureTech platforms, refining sourcing workflows, and serving as the primary commercial and systems SME.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Systems & Buying Enablement
- Take ownership of core procurement applications, including our Omnea procurement platform, tail spend solutions, and virtual card systems.
- Act as the internal go-to Subject Matter Expert for buyers, providing technical support, resolving operational bottlenecks, and optimising buying tool performance.
- Design and lead practical training sessions for buying teams to maximize platform adoption and streamline day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Process Excellence & Strategy
- Evaluate day-to-day sourcing, negotiation, and contract management workflows to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Drive change management initiatives across buying teams, updating procurement policies, governance standards, and ESG guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to automate routine administrative buying tasks, giving procurement teams time back to focus on strategic sourcing.
- Commercial Reporting & Spend Visibility
- Track operational KPIs and monitor team achievements across sourcing efficiency, savings delivery, and contract compliance.
- Translate procurement spend metrics and operational data into clear performance updates for commercial stakeholders and leadership.
Supplier Governance & Risk
- Support the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, keeping supplier onboarding and risk reviews aligned with global standards.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor documentation and flag compliance issues to safeguard supply chain continuity.
About You
- Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Sourcing Specialist
- Strong foundational knowledge of end-to-end buying processes, RFXs, negotiations, vendor management, and contract administration.
- Comfortable working with digital Procurement platforms, tail spend tools, or ERP systems, with a natural knack for mastering new operational tools.
- Confident communicator who understands the day-to-day challenges buyers face and can translate complex workflows into simple, actionable guidance.
- Enjoy working with people and data: you understand how humans interact information, and tailor your approach accordingly.
- Motivated to eliminate administrative hassle, streamline procurement policies, and improve buying efficiency across the business.
