Review supplier catalogs and product specifications to identify and introduce new lubricant products to the company portfolio.
Evaluate product performance and identify potential opportunities for growth within the lubricants category.
Prepare proposals, request quotations, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions with suppliers.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and purchasing agreements.
Negotiate prices and commercial terms with vendors to achieve the best value for the company.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues affecting delivery, quality, or service.
Ensure continuous availability of lubricant products across company branches and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Ensure that purchased lubricants meet company quality standards and technical requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers to ensure consistent product quality and reliable supply.
Address and resolve supplier-related issues that may affect product availability or operational efficiency.
Take corrective actions in coordination with suppliers and internal departments when needed.
Prepare purchasing and stock control reports related to lubricant products.
Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and supplier performance evaluations.
Support the preparation and revision of monthly purchasing budgets.
Provide regular reports on purchasing performance, supplier efficiency, and stock availability.
RequirementsEducation
BSc in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Automotive, or Chemical Engineering).
1 to 3 years of experience in procurement (Lubricants)
Previous experience in lubricants, oils, or automotive spare parts purchasing is highly preferred.
Good technical knowledge of lubricants and related automotive products.
Ability to review supplier catalogs and analyze product specifications.
Proficiency in preparing purchasing and stock control reports.
Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors.
Ability to monitor supplier performance and resolve operational issues.
Capability to support sourcing activities and procurement processes.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
