The Procurement Data Analyst partners with assigned parts of the business to support and identify opportunities for improvement in operations and processes within the company that will result in increased efficiencies and productivity while lowering costs and increasing profitability. The Data Analyst is responsible for using a broad range of technologies, analytical techniques, and methodologies to retrieve and analyze data from various sources, providing predictive insights and supporting business decision-making.


In this role, you will work on complex projects of broad scope that require an in-depth understanding of problem identification, analysis, and resolution, particularly within Procurement and Supply Chain functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, support reporting and analytics initiatives, and help drive data-based decision-making across the organization.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Perform data analyses using analytical models and mathematical analysis.
  • Use data analysis and modeling to create new reports (including Power BI), troubleshoot issues, and modify existing reports.
  • Function as a database system administrator by auditing functionality, assigning and training new users, troubleshooting issues, training other database users, and testing new system functionality.
  • Analyze existing data records, summarize data quality findings, and recommend solutions for compliance, cost-saving, and standardization opportunities.
  • Partner with team members across business units and functions to support new and ongoing business reporting, analytical, and training needs.
  • Recommend scalable practices that enhance business measurements through statistical analysis and data-driven conclusions.
  • Act as a liaison between end users, IT, and other cross-functional teams during the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Research and prepare statistical reports, consolidating information into clear and understandable formats to support management decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal customers and external vendors on primary research projects.
  • Develop reports that analyze spending, opportunities for consolidation, and standardization opportunities.
  • Participate in large projects focused on improving business operations and processes.
  • Partner with senior analysts on initiatives to create new reports, metrics, and dashboards based on business needs.
  • Develop presentations and effectively communicate results to business partners.
  • Collaborate with internal operational business partners and stakeholders to identify and define opportunities for improving operations.
  • Define, develop, and implement scorecard metrics and measurement tools.
What You'll Bring
  • Fluent English language skills (French and/or German is a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience managing databases, providing timely user support, and writing reports, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of the business area served, including Operations and Systems.
  • Advanced quantitative skills with proficiency in:
    • Data analysis (SAP, MS Access)
    • Data modeling (MS Excel)
    • Presentations (MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI and GEP.
  • Experience with ETL tools including SQL, VBA, Snowflake, and Alteryx.
  • Advanced experience with e-bidding tools such as Market Dojo.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to take complex information and communicate it clearly and concisely to various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to explain and teach new data models and functions.
  • Ability to perform advanced statistical reporting and create logical, detailed, and analytical reports.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience managing databases, providing user support, and writing reports, or equivalent education and experience

  • Advanced quantitative and data analysis skills
