The Procurement Coordinator is mainly responsible for assisting in the sourcing, procurement, and management of supplies and vendors. The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for inputting order data, communicating with vendors, tracking shipments and identifying cost savings and improvements to the process. This role is responsible for the Catering, F&B Airport Concession, and any other commercial ventures in the market.
- Assist the Procurement Manager with all stages of the procurement process and work cross-functionally with all internal and external teams.
- Manage weekly supplier communication channels to stay on top of all outstanding orders.
- Prepare and draft purchase orders and upload corresponding shipment data into our tools.
- Develop and implement new procurement and sourcing strategies, aligning with industry news and best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with our internal teams to manage inventory and ensure orders are placed on time to support forecasted demand, within defined budget, maintain healthy inventory levels, and support growth.
- Oversee the timely management and execution of orders, ensuring that status updates and order deliveries are communicated to the appropriate point of contact.
- Support with the development of strategies to select the best products for the operation.
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
- Planning and coordinating the shipment and receipt of material using a variety of government or commercial shipping services.
- Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.
- Using computer systems to maintain property records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received or shipped.
- Review and action requisitions, invoices, contracts documents, and supplier records from assigned workflow queues.
- Assist with creating, analyzing, and actioning various report data sets (supplier, purchase orders, invoices, contracts, etc.)
