The Corporate & Business Services family group at F5 is responsible for activities related to supporting corporate and business unit needs, including corporate services and administrative support areas. Activities include administrative support, ancillary support, business resilience and shared services, and more.

F5’s Purchasing & Procurement performs activities related to the purchasing of materials, equipment and services for internal company use. Implements and communicates company policies and procedures for purchasing. Reviews purchase requests for completeness and compliance with company requirements; negotiates with vendors and approves purchases of authorized amounts or size. Maintains and updates purchasing orders, systems, and documentation. Monitors the cost, schedule and performance metrics of contracts and subcontracts.

TECHNICAL ACUMEN

Possesses an understanding of F5 products and business to ensure accuracy and timely shipping and receiving of packages for F5. This includes familiarity with certified mail and tracking, computerized package scanning experience, and knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement tasks for specific projects or categories, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and timely execution.
  • Assist in developing procurement documentation, including purchase orders and specifications.
  • Monitor procurement timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to project schedules and addressing any challenges.
  • Provide training and support to junior procurement coordinators on procedures and best practices.
  • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and suppliers to address procurement-related inquiries

  • Overall 3-5 years experience into Procurement
  • Experience in Coupa is a must
  • Works on assignments and problems of minimally complex scope, requiring judgment and initiative, using standard procedures under supervision.
  • Receives general instruction on work and guidance from more experienced colleagues and will work very closely with purchasing & procurement team.
  • Impact primarily extends to own team.
  • Liaise across departments and functions to ensure all customer queries are resolved swiftly, with excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
