A role you will love

As a Procurement Contracts Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting procurement and contracting activities across a diverse supplier base. You'll review and negotiate supplier agreements, coordinate onboarding activities, manage contract renewals and help stakeholders navigate the contracting process.

The role offers plenty of variety and would suit someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and making sound commercial decisions. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of contracts and business areas while building your procurement and contract management expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts and commercial terms
  • Managing contract renewals and supporting the end-to-end contract lifecycle
  • Supporting supplier onboarding and ensuring required documentation is completed
  • Partnering with stakeholders, suppliers and Legal teams to progress contracting activities
  • Maintaining contract records and associated documentation
  • Providing commercial and market insights to support supplier decisions
  • Managing supplier relationships and supporting supplier performance activities
  • Supporting procurement initiatives that deliver value, efficiency and risk management

What will you bring to the role?

We're looking for someone with strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders and suppliers.

You don't need a degree for this role. We're more interested in your experience, judgement, willingness to learn and ability to build effective working relationships.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management or supplier management
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and supplier agreements
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier engagement
  • Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
  • Good commercial judgement and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

And it’s desirable if you have:

  • Experience supporting supplier onboarding activities
  • Understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions
  • Experience working within a procurement function
  • Knowledge of contract management systems
  • Working towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional qualification such as CIPS
