Greenvolt Power Spain is looking for a Procurement Contracts Senior Manager to oversee the commercial and contractual management of procurement packages during the construction phase of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including Solar PV, Wind, BESS and Grid Connection infrastructure. The role is responsible for protecting the company's commercial interests, managing contractual risks, negotiating claims and variations, and ensuring contractors and suppliers comply with their contractual obligations throughout project execution.

Key accountabilities

• Manage the commercial administration of EPC, BoP (civil and electrical works), substation, transmission line and

equipment supply contracts during project execution.

• Support the structured handover process from contract execution/closing through to the Construction phase, including ),

including project contracts, securities, insurance, interim O&M arrangements and any other relevant documentation.

• Lead in coordination with Construction the evaluation, negotiation and administration of variation orders, change

requests and contractual amendments.

• Manage contractor claims, extension of time (EOT) requests, compensation events and dispute resolution processes.

• Monitor contractual compliance, project milestones, performance guarantees, warranties and liquidated damages

provisions.

• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks impacting project cost, commercial deliverables, schedule and

performance.

• Support project cost control, forecasting and reporting activities throughout construction.

• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Legal and Finance teams to ensure effective contract

management and project delivery.

• Lead contract close-out activities, including final account negotiations, warranty management and claim settlements.

• Support the structured handover process from Construction to Operations and Maintenance (O&M), including project

contracts, securities, insurance, interim O&M arrangements and any other relevant documentation.

Support the Project Finance requirements during project execution by coordinating the provision of contractual,

commercial and supporting documentation required by lenders, advisors, and internal finance teams.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial management, contract management, procurement or project controls within renewable energy, infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing EPC and construction contracts for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Experience with FIDIC, NEC or similar contractual frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of claims management, dispute resolution and change order processes.
  • Experience in Solar PV, Wind, BESS, Hybrid Projects and Grid Connection infrastructure is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proactive, autonomous, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Negotiation skills with external stakeholders.
