This will encompass strategic and tactical sourcing, contract administration, vendor relationship management, negotiations, and overall operations for procurement activities within scope. About the Role:
- Procurement Strategy: Lead, mentor, and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Develop, implement, and optimize procurement strategies aligned with C&W’s goals and objections.
- Sourcing & Vendor Management: Source new suppliers, evaluate capabilities, identify suitable solutions, and work with TDS and Corporate Category Managers to award contracts.
- Cost Control: Design and manage the RFP tender process to support program goals and requirements, includes interpreting contracts and negotiating favorable terms with vendors to achieve savings.
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other business documents including adherence to company policy, compliance, and legal requirements.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required. MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Procurement & Contract Manager (or similar role) with at least 3 years of relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor, or in construction, engineering, or contracts management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing, and vendor management across APAC.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects of procurement globally. Familiarity with international construction contracts.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
