To execute and be responsible for procurement of aircraft engine material and non product material for the facility. Administration duties to include but not limited to subcontractor management, vendor creation, contracts and kan-ban management.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Materials Provisioning and Purchasing
To provide and expedite new, used, exchange and subcontract materials for all engine work scopes and satisfy stock requirements for high volume consumables. This will involve the procurement of spare parts, monitoring and progressing delivery with vendors to ensure on time delivery utilising the SAP system.
Responsible for the raising of purchase orders for both engine related and non-engine related products and services.
Experience
5+ years materials management. Procurement experience and its processes.
Degree desirable or equivalent experience.
Experience in aviation industry (desirable)
Team player – good interpersonal skills
Good Microsoft office experience (Excel and word)
SAP experience (desirable)
