ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Sourcing suppliers through RFx activities.
- Negotiating supplier contracts for fair market pricing and risk avoidance.
- Drafting, editing, redlining, and reviewing contracts of various types.
- Managing supplier performance through contract adherence and mitigating risk for vendors aligned to high-risk product or other service categories.
- Identifying potential vendor compliance gaps in the contracts, implementing key controls, and understanding how to mitigate risks through contractual controls.
- Optimizing supplier base through spend reductions and managing the contract lifecycles.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders in establishing appropriate contractual terms.
- Serving as the liaison between vendor, management vendor and business units.
- Managing the satisfaction of the business with the vendor to constantly re-evaluate their supplier needs.
- Identifying issues and emerging risks and bringing immediate visibility to appropriate senior leaders.
- Researching and resolving escalated or complex issues.
- Provide timely research/responses and ad-hoc support to various departments.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Previous mortgage experience preferred.
- Previous operations or vendor management experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to translate analysis into meaningful insights.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Coupa, SmartSheet, and other technology skills preferred.
