Job Description:
WHAT YOU DO:
- Customer service for internal customers and vendors. Communication with vendors on price, products, order status,
- Timely and accurate key entry of incoming orders for UPS operations, Stock level management.
- Maintains and contributes to weekly and monthly reporting.
- Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate
- Supports team in identifying ways to reduce costs through competitive sourcing initiatives.
- Helps develop category implementation plans to ensure continuous process improvement.
- Creates complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations.
- Assists with Requests for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), financial and performance clauses, metrics, terms, and penalties to ensure the best bid among vendors.
- Market analyses to reveal saving opportunities: Internet, trade press, trade fairs
- Supports the execution of contracts within the assigned commodity.
- Previous experience with the Coupa purchasing system – nice to have
WHAT MAKES YOU STRONG:
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
- Experience as a buyer preferable in IT or Supply section - Preferred
- Experience with vendor sourcing - Preferred
- Experience with negotiations - Preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Very good English skills in speaking, reading and writing.
- Very good command of Turkish in speaking, reading and writing. Any other language (East District countries) is an advantage.
