We’re looking for a Procurement Associate to support our growing team. This role is fully onsite at our Middletown, CT location. This role will support the daily operations of our Procurement team. This entry-level role focuses on developing well-rounded skills in inventory, purchasing, quoting, and logistics. You’ll play a key part in managing equipment flow in and out of the office, supporting ticket fulfillment, and assisting with quoting, purchasing, and follow-ups. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily shipping and receiving, including scanning products, stocking inventory, processing returns, and maintaining accurate ticket updates in ConnectWise. 
  • Perform inventory functions, such as pick/ship, client stock pulls, inventory adjustments, RMA processing, and weekly/monthly procurement checks. 
  • Assist with quoting activities, including generating quotes for hardware, software, licenses, projects, and internal needs, and completing follow-ups with team members or clients. 
  • Help convert accepted quotes into sales orders, ensuring accurate product creation, ticket updates, and proper workflow progression. 
  • Support purchasing operations, including creating POs, updating metadata, tracking ETAs, monitoring stale POs, and handling vendor orders across Dell, Ingram, Meraki, Adobe, Datto, GoDaddy, and others. 
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation by updating standard products, renewing licenses, and assisting with NCE renewals, co-terms, and cloud marketplace updates. 
  • Conduct weekly and monthly procurement audits, including truck checks, shelf checks, equipment checks, deployment/project room reviews, monthly inventory counts, and DNB product report reviews. 
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Coordinator on special tasks, including quoting support, purchasing help, follow-ups, and process improvements. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements
  • College degree preferred (Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field). 
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or similar environment. 
  • Certifications in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related fields preferred. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and willingness to learn procurement systems and best practices. 
  • Ability to pass a background check  
  • A current and valid US Driver’s License

Skills Required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience in procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain
  • Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Procurement certifications
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excel experience
  • Experience with ERP, inventory management, or procurement software
  • Positive attitude and desire to build a long-term career in procurement
