Reports To: Sourcing Manager

Job Type: Temporary, full time, onsite

Compensation: $21-$23 per hour


Job Summary

In this role, you will work directly with Buyers, (warehouses, vendors, and internal teams) to help process purchase orders, track orders, and follow up on day-to-day requests. You’ll gain exposure to how purchasing and operations function in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Enter and maintain purchase orders and vendor information in company systems
  • Update and verify pricing and product details for accuracy
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files related to purchasing and supply chain activities
  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and make corrections as needed
  • Assist with tracking shipments, deliveries, and order statuses
  • Generate reports related to purchasing activity, inventory levels, and order history
  • Support the Supply Chain team with administrative tasks and document preparation
  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect and update required information
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or office operations
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory systems
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based but may require occasional travel to meet with vendors or attend industry events. The role involves frequent interaction with vendors, internal stakeholders, and management. The Buyer must be comfortable working independently on complex projects while also collaborating with cross-functional teams. Some flexibility in working hours may be necessary to communicate with vendors or address urgent procurement needs.
