The Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing procurement data, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. This role ensures cost efficiency, compliance, and process optimization by leveraging data-driven insights to improve procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support development of category strategies.
Support commodity managers with global spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and market intelligence to identify cost reduction, performance improvement, and consolidation opportunities
Support RFx processes, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and business alignment.
Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risks.
Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership on spend analysis, supplier performance, and KPIs.
Track supplier metrics such as delivery times, quality, and pricing.
Assist in supplier evaluations and audits.
Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and recommend improvements.
Support automation and digitalization initiatives within procurement systems.
Collaborate with sourcing, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
2–4 years in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data systems and artificial intelligence.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with procurement analytics and cost modeling.
Knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier management.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work onsite in an office environment on a daily basis
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (office materials, supplies, etc.)
Ability to walk between manufacturing and administrative areas as needed
Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, phone, copier, etc.)
