Procurement Analyst

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role. 
• Intermediate to high proficiency in English (both written and verbal). 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a plus. 
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, policies, and compliance requirements. 
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating favorable terms. 
• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret data to guide decisions. 
• Proactive and self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills. 
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. 

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:  

• Execute procurement activities ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with company objectives. 
• Standardize and optimize procurement workflows, resolve process bottlenecks, and track requisition cycles. 
• Coordinate office consumables procurement in collaboration with internal stakeholders. 
• Ensure alignment with procurement policies, SLAs, and relevant regulatory requirements. 
• Conduct periodic audits and propose process improvements. 
• Stay updated on procurement technology, tools, and compliance trends. 
• Maintain and classify a robust supplier database; identify and nurture strategic vendor partnerships. 
• Monitor supplier performance and lead negotiations for improved service and cost conditions. 
• Leverage data and analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance financial performance. 
• Collaborate with the treasury team to ensure timely and accurate payment processes. 
• Prepare and deliver actionable procurement reports and dashboards using Power BI. 
• Track key procurement KPIs and use insights to inform strategic decisions. 
• Co-lead procurement activities by defining clear processes and fostering continuous improvement. 
• Support the structure and growth of the procurement function with clear objectives and team metrics. 
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with business needs. 
• Manage procurement forecasts and documentation in compliance with internal policies and external (accounting, tax, legal) requirements.
