Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong analytical expertise to manage procurement master data, optimize procurement workflows, and support data-driven strategic initiatives. This role involves utilizing advanced data analysis techniques to maintain accurate and actionable procurement data, ensure system integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency. The Procurement Analyst will also lead process mining and reporting efforts to uncover inefficiencies, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Master Data Management
- Manage and analyze procurement master data, including supplier profiles, product specifications, pricing, and agreements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across ERP systems (e.g., SAP, SRM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, supply chain, and operations, to ensure procurement data aligns with organizational goals and supports decision-making.
- Perform in-depth audits of procurement data to identify inconsistencies, uncover data gaps, and implement corrective actions for improved data quality and governance.
- Automate data processes, leveraging tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort, while ensuring the timely and accurate entry of supplier and product information.
- Analyze procurement trends and data insights to support strategic decision-making and recommend actions for optimizing procurement processes.
Process Mining and Reporting
- Utilize advanced process mining tools, such as Celonis, to identify process inefficiencies, workflow bottlenecks, and opportunities for strategic improvement.
- Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI, providing leadership with real-time insights into procurement performance and enabling proactive decision-making.
- Establish and monitor procurement KPIs, leveraging data analysis to assess operational effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
- Use SQL to extract and analyze complex datasets, building knowledge models and performing deep dives into operational workflows to uncover actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or data analytics, with a strong emphasis on managing procurement master data and conducting advanced data analysis.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and procurement software tools like Ariba or Coupa, with a focus on data management and process optimization.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques for analyzing large datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI is required, with proven expertise in data extraction, analysis, and visualization to drive actionable insights.
- Experience with data management and governance best practices, ensuring high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex datasets and transform findings into actionable strategies.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in data management and reporting.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, fostering effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, such as CPSM, CPP, CIPSP, or APICS CSCP, demonstrating advanced knowledge in the field.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries, with a comprehensive understanding of procurement and supply chain operations.
- Advanced knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with process mining tools, such as Celonis, to evaluate workflows and identify process optimization opportunities.
- Experience with automation and RPA tools, such as Precisely Automate Studio, for streamlining procurement and data management tasks.
