Position Summary

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for administering, controlling, and auditing purchasing processes related to indirect materials and services while supporting plant operations. This position plays a key role in supplier management, cost reduction initiatives, purchasing compliance, and process improvement efforts using business systems such as SAP and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process purchase requisitions assigned to the plant and purchasing group.

• Obtain supplier quotations and evaluate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to ensure the best overall value for the organization.

• Create and manage purchase orders in compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

• Track, document, and report monthly purchasing savings and cost reduction initiatives.

• Support supplier contract management and ensure agreements meet company standards to mitigate risk.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers and internal departments to resolve commercial issues, payment concerns, and delivery challenges.

• Coordinate supplier setup, registration updates, and supplier master data maintenance.

• Partner with Accounts Payable, Warehouse, Foreign Trade, and other departments to ensure efficient procurement operations.

• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, quality, and purchasing requirements related to suppliers and procurement activities.

• Participate in and support internal and external audits related to purchasing, quality, environmental systems, and compliance activities.

• Train internal users on purchasing procedures, requisition processes, and procurement policies.

• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related business functions.

• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and suppliers.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI reporting and data analysis tools.

• Intermediate English language proficiency.

• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

• Knowledge of supplier relationship management, contract administration, and procurement best practices.

• Experience supporting ISO, quality, environmental, or compliance audits.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout office and manufacturing environments.

• Ability to use computers and standard office equipment for extended periods.

• Occasional lifting of office materials and movement throughout the production facility as needed.
