Procurement Analyst

Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for client-related business processes or for internal use. Develops and ensures execution of strategies to reduce overall procurement costs and raise the efficiency levels of purchasing activity. Responsibilities

• Provides procurement services for a location, department or designated business unit.
• Performs day-to-day purchasing for assigned area(s).
• Follows standard policies and procedures to identify appropriate vendors, secure the best price and establish delivery terms.
• Enters, confirms and expedites purchase orders, in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintains file system for purchase orders and correspondence.
• Reviews onsite inventory levels and issues / modifies orders for stock replenishment.
• Supports departmental goals for expense management, high service levels and excess inventory reduction.
• Generates monthly and other periodic reports.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Procurement.
• Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
• Work Model: Remote
