Introduction

We are searching for a Procurement Administrator to join our Cluster North team based at one of our manufacturing sites in Mexico.
 

About the Role

The Procurement Administrator validates supplier request and supplier registration questionnaires, validates and distributes PRs, creates and follows up on POs as well as processes tickets / issues for the responsible geographies and locations (mills, factories or offices).

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate vendor creation and data maintenance​
  • Submit/validate supplier request

  • Facilitate vendor creation and data maintenance, including master data, price lists, and related information.

  • Monitor requisitions to ensure they are complete and properly assigned.

  • Create purchase orders.

  • Manage the order follow-up and confirmation process (order acknowledgements), ensuring timely execution.

  • Follow up on overdue orders and expedite the receipt of goods and services.

  • Monitor and resolve invoicing-related issues.

  • Provide information and insights to improve system efficiency.

  • Escalate supplier, system, and process issues to the appropriate procurement team as input for continuous improvement.

  • Provide end-user training as needed.

  • Maintain and validate master data within procurements responsibility  

  • Maintain price lists and other source to pay related data.

  • Review quality of requisitions to confirm compliance to established buying channels 
    (e.g., catalogues, existing contracts), work cooperatively with Essity’s requisitioners where needed to comply with procurement processes and procedures

  • Solve ticket issues received through the system 

Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field (Degree required).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Purchasing/Procurement area.

  • English level: Preferred (B1).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
