JOB PURPOSE:
McCain Europe is seeking a Procurement Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Villeneuve d'Ascq, France. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a basic understanding of procurement processes, looking to provide valuable support to our Procurement team in Continental Europe.
As the Procurement Administrative Coordinator, you will handle various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of procurement activities, including managing SAP processes, updating pricing, coordinating RFQs, and maintaining supplier data. You'll work closely with our Procurement team and other business functions to foster collaboration and efficiency.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK:

  • Reporting to: Direct Materials Director


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Procurement Support

  • Act as the procurement team's go-to person for SAP system tasks.
  • Manage monthly price updates and share information within the organization.
  • Create contracts and purchase orders (POs) as required.
  • Perform level 1 analysis and correction for price variance issues.
  • Coordinate vendor creation requests and ensure compliance with McCain processes.
  • Collect and organize vendor documents (e.g., Code of Conduct, credit reports).
  • Maintain the contract library in our Coupa tool.


Support Procurement Operations

  • Assist in tendering activities by coordinating RFIs and RFQs with regional and global teams.
  • Facilitate data collection and support implementation of various procurement projects.


Training and Optimization

  • Provide training and refresher sessions on procurement tools to new and existing users.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of procurement tools.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the CE Procurement team, supply chain teams, and plant teams across the region (including Van Geloven, Lutosa, and McCain Appetizer).


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Education: Minimum Bac+2 level (e.g., BTS Support to Managerial Action) in procurement, business, or administrative services.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and data management tools.
  • Attributes:
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Efficient, flexible, and stress-resistant.
    • Positive attitude and curiosity to learn.
    • Problem-solving abilities to assist teams with local challenges.
    • A collaborative mindset, respecting the contributions of others.


Nice to Have:

  • Basic procurement knowledge (e.g., tendering processes, supplier relationship management).
  • Experience in training others on tools and systems.
