As our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team continues to scale alongside the business, we are adding a 2nd P2P supervisor to strengthen dedicated coverage across our business partner groups. This position will be based in our Philippines office and report to the P2P Manager based in Manila. The two P2P supervisors each own a distinct business area giving each dedicated leader deep familiarity with their stakeholders’ workflows, seasonality and priorities, while maintaining one consistent operating model across the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations across transaction processing, reporting, Month-end Close, and Reconciliations. He or she will have a solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts payable workflows, an ability to partner with technical teams and build strong cross-regional and cross-functional relationships, a deep curiosity and passion for automation and process improvements, and the ability to see the broader picture while staying hands-on with the details to contribute to the team’s goals.
Responsibilities:
Netflix Culture Ambassador
Be a Netflix Culture Ambassador by role modeling our values, managing cultural updates, and facilitating team discussions
Team Management and Development:
Drive talent development through team building, training, coaching, and performance feedback
Act as the first point of contact for process queries and clarifications
Conduct daily huddles and one-on-one meetings
Monitor KPIs and SLAs, addressing issues to enhance performance
Manage staff leaves, coverage, overtime, training, and performance evaluations
Ensure team alignment during periods of change and ambiguity, providing stability and clear direction
Partner with the other P2P supervisor and the P2P manager to maintain a consistent operating model, shared standards and coverage continuity across all business areas
Operational & Reporting Oversight, Compliance:
Act as a point of escalation for operational issues within your business area
Resolve discrepancies and errors in the P2P process
Develop and implement solutions to prevent future issues
Oversee transaction processing and ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
Performance Monitoring:
Review daily metrics and track employee performance
Analyze performance data to identify operational inefficiencies
Develop targeted training programs to address skill gaps
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives
Monitor aging reports and resolve complex issues
Strategic Initiatives & Business Partner Liaison:
Serve as dedicated liaison for your business area’s BP stakeholders, partnering directly with BP leaders and cross-functional partners
Partner closely with Business Partners (BPs) to identify and implement process improvement and standardization initiatives, both within your business area and across the broader P2P team
Discuss policies, procedures, and internal controls with leadership
Assist with special projects, including system upgrades and SOP standardization
Identify operational and compliance risks and implement controls
Lead the implementation of new P2P workflows to enhance automation and efficiency
Skills Required:
Experience managing a dynamic team in a global, shared services environment
Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance
Strong customer focus with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Workday experience preferred)
Experience with ticketing tools like FreshDesk or Zendesk is a plus
Forward-thinking with a focus on process improvements
Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Education and Experience:
Background in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of relevant functional experience
3+ years of people management experience
Degree in a relevant field of study
