Summary:

Allied Fire Protection is seeking a detail-oriented Procore Scheduler to support project scheduling, coordination, and execution across our fire sprinkler construction operations. This role will manage project schedules within Procore, coordinate milestones with project management and field teams, and provide visibility into schedule performance, upcoming deadlines, and potential delays.

Must have experience with commercial construction scheduling, Procore, and coordinating multiple projects from design through installation and closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Procore.
  • Coordinate project milestones with project managers, general contractors, designers, purchasing, fabrication, and field operations.
  • Track critical dates, including notice to proceed, design completion, submittals, material procurement, fabrication, installation, inspections, testing, and project closeout.
  • Maintain schedule logic, task dependencies, milestone dates, and critical path activities.
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly schedule updates with project teams.
  • Identify schedule conflicts, delays, and potential impacts to project completion.
  • Develop lookahead schedules to support field planning, manpower allocation, material availability, and installation sequencing.
  • Monitor planned versus actual progress and communicate schedule variances to project leadership.
  • Generate schedule reports and dashboards for operations management.
  • Support Procore adoption, scheduling standards, user training, and consistent reporting across branches.
  • Maintain accurate schedule data and coordinate recovery plans with project teams when milestones fall behind.
  • Work with project managers and superintendents to align scheduling expectations with contractual requirements and field conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial construction scheduling, project controls, or project coordination.
  • Proficiency with Procore, including scheduling and project management tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or comparable scheduling software preferred.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules, drawings, project milestones, and subcontractor commitments.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection construction preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction reporting tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Commercial fire sprinkler or other MEP construction experience.
  • Experience coordinating general contractor master schedules with subcontractor schedules.
  • Knowledge of labor planning, fabrication lead times, material procurement, and field installation sequencing.
  • Experience with Procore reporting, schedule analysis, and process standardization.

Performance Expectations:

  • Maintain accurate and current project schedules and Manpower.
  • Provide timely visibility into schedule risks and milestone slippage.
  • Improve coordination between project management, design, purchasing, fabrication, and field operations.
  • Establish consistent scheduling and reporting practices across assigned projects.
  • Support on-time project execution through proactive communication and schedule accountability.

Full-time position supporting commercial fire sprinkler construction projects.

Skills Required
